The second thing you should know when facing an unplanned pregnancy is: You have choices!
Many women facing an unplanned pregnancy think they don’t have options. Maybe it’s because you’re feeling pressure from your family or your partner. Keep in mind, having a positive pregnancy test doesn’t always mean you have a viable pregnancy. One in every four pregnancies will end in miscarriage. You can come to Mid Cities Women’s Clinic for a pregnancy test, a sonogram, and then sit down and talk with a counselor about YOUR options. We know this can be a scary time, but you don’t have to figure it out alone. Click here to schedule an appointment.
The third thing you should know when facing an unplanned pregnancy is: You have assistance!
Mid Cities Women’s Clinic is here to help you. We have licensed professionals to help provide you with unbiased medical information. We also have compassionate counselors who are here to help you decide the best option for YOUR future. Please note, because we are a nonprofit organization, we do not profit from your decision in any way, shape or form. We are here for you!
The fourth thing you should know when facing an unplanned pregnancy is: All of our services are free!
Since pregnancy tests aren’t always accurate, the best thing to do is to schedule a sonogram (Click here to request your appointment). In addition to that, we offer a pre-abortion consultation. It is always smart to determine if you’re actually pregnant before scheduling an abortion. You may actually end up paying for something you don’t need. Miscarriages and ectopic pregnancies are more common than you might think. Lastly, you should get tested and treated for any possible STIs. Untreated STIs during an abortion procedure increases the risk of PID (Pelvic Inflammatory Disease). This has the potential to leave a woman infertile if not treated. Again, all of our services are completely free. There is no need for insurance, no need for a co-pay. When we say free we actually mean free!
